After a very valuable Mint State 1885-CC Morgan Silver Dollar came through the doors of The Happy Coin, we were prompted to do some more research about the coin we looked at and the greater history of the Carson City Mint. The video outlines some of the notable dates on the Morgan Dollar series to look for and also details some of the greatest coins ever produced at the Nevada location. Additionally, there is a lot of neat information regarding the mint’s formation (and why it was made) and eventual sale and transformation into a different government building.
