United States Commemorative Coins

The commemorative US coins are minted by the United State to celebrate a particular person, place, event, or institution. Gold & Silver commemorative coins are produced to mark the occasion and are highly sought among numismatics. The coins minted from 1892 to 1954 are called Early Commemoratives. No coins were produced between 1954 and 1982 and the coins minted after 1982 are called Modern Commemoratives.
